I posted in the Lounge as well, but I know there are some that hangout here. I recently took my honeymoon to New Zealand and we spent 10 days traveling the south island. I wanted to ride, but didn't think I would be able to. Turned out we picked up some time driving and spent an extra day in Queenstown. While researching riding, I found a local bike shop (Vertigo Bikes, they were really helpful) and the guy there mentions there was a gondola with DH trails not even a 5 minute walk from the shop. So I rented a Giant Glory and did a half day. Some of the best riding I have ever done. I will definitely go back. The dirt was really nice, the berms and trails were well maintained and best of all it was right in town. The videos are a little boring. I just got my Hero2 before we left and I don't know much about editing. These are straight off the camera.
Side note: Also did a 8hr moto trip in Christchurch that was epic.
