So the blue dial that was on the end of the DHX rear shock was hitting my frame(Orange 222) upon bottom out. I finally realized that the blue dial needed to come off, so I pulled it off and saw that there were now some exposed threads that I didn't like to see. After fiddling with some other very dumb ideas, I cut the finger off of the latex glove that I was wearing and threw it over the end of the shock and rolled it up a bit. The shock condom was born, and now I can be positive that my precious rear shock can't get infected by any of that damn dirty dirt.

Any of you who may have seen my rear wheels over the past few weeks saw what horrible shape they were in. I finally broke down and bought me some new 729's and built some rather sexy new wheels. Now if only my hubs weren't in such terrible shape as well, and I had some new bushings and seals in my fork my bike would be the shiznit

id wrap that condom with some duck tape, thats one that u wouldnt want coming off.

Did you pinch the tip before rolling it down? Gotta leave room for, um, fluid blowoff.

Nope, new spokes, just some spoke prep on the spokes. And yes I made sure to pinch the tip, just in case...
