Hey everyone! Me, my brother and our buddy Caleb are looking for a place to ride our bikes near Val Di Sole(northern Italy). We would really appreciate it if somebody could point us in the right direction to some lift assisted DH that is open for the next few days. Figured there has to be something between here and southernd Austria. We dont mind driving a few hours! Thanks for the imput, it is really appreciated!

Switzerland is your best bet for some sick riding in a resort called Scuol (Engadin region, specially famous fro freeride skiing, if you're into that...). You're about 1h30 drive away from there (although in reality it feels like more because of looong winding mountain roads). If you've seen Super 8, Illusionary Lines, Chris Kovarik has a pretty sick section there at the start of the film.

Otherwise you've got Livigno not too far from where you are (i believe it's west-south west of Val di Sole)...and there's always Pila (Valle d'Aosta)

check those out...there might be plenty of other tracks but I'd be lying if I told you i knew them.

not in Whistler anymore :/
if you wanna go ride some real techy trails, between meran and bolzano there are many trails, (translated) trail descriptions are here:

livigno as posted is also very nice, but the way up is very long due to the many mountains. but the riding there is superb, and: it's a tax free zone, so you can get gas, booze, smokes etc for a very reasonable price :>
