Martin was saying that the teams are trying to come up with a way to fund it so that everything is free after this weekend.
Then we'll have 80,000 people hitting the server and it'll get locked up again....nominal fee keeps that traffic in check.....no.....?......
I'm not opposed to paying a couple of bucks at all. Especially if the feed is as flawless as it's been for me today.
I wasn't complaining about the price I just wanted to make sure I had my facts straight.
Also, riddle me this...would it be better for me to wake up to watch it live tomorrow until I have to go to work at 10am and miss the last few riders? Or avoid RM and other MTB sites all day until I get home from work and I can watch the Replay all the way through?

Graves was fairly unlucky, as Slavik washed out in a corner, and nearly took out Graves. While Graves was throwing anchors to not ride into Slavik, Marosi took Graves on the outside and take an unassailable lead. It was super sloppy today. I can imagine the stacks tomorrow at the that rock garden during the DH run.

Referring to DirtTV and MTBCut still putting out practice vids.
from what I gather the rule pertains to race run footage, not practice. What i'm unclear about is if this affects DirtTV/MTBCut etc from being able to put together race day highlights or if it means Freecaster has sole rights to broadcasting the UCI feed, ie MTBCut can't embed it on their site like they did last year?
However it is interpreted I'd be surprised if it's enforced beyond just putting it in writing. It's pretty much in the best interest of all parties involved to look the other way.

Steve Smith was 5th in qualifying today, he is stoked. The course was out of control muddy and slippery, and the kid from the island threw down a massive run.
