i think you are square out of luck besides tenny or jiminy (neither i have yet to get to) i live 30 mins north of boston around lowell, ma and i just drive 4 hours to Pkill and ride with friends there...
not a clue, I don't remember it being too far though, my guess would be under 2hrs. attitash bear peak is the name of the mountain, and they should have a website. http://www.attitash.com/summer/index.html
ps, it took me about 45 minutes to an hour to get to portsmouth from north of the city. If there were no traffic, i bet you make the trip from central boston to portsmouth in an hour. From there....i don't know. It may even be faster, I hit some traffic at the toll.
I ride attitash all the time, a sweet sweet sweeeeet mountain. It's about 2.5 hours from boston, tons of fun, really tight and technical if you like that type of riding. Lots of fun.
I really wanna hit up jimminy, i go to school out at amherst, so we'll def be there once college gets back in. If you're heading out there sometime, let me know, i'd love to hit that place up, sounds like a ton of fun.
attitash is sweet. Its super tight and takes some getting used to but once u do its a blast. PLus nothing beats taking a run on the alpine slide to change things up a bit, and leave some time at the end of the day to hit up the waterpark to cool down!
