just out of curiosity, has anyone here used DHL to ship anything? I know they're big in Europe, but how's their service over here? i drove by a truck earlier today and have been wondering ever since.

I just checked their pricing last night and it was WAY better than FedEx and UPS. We've gotta ship our bikes from Upstate NY to Arizona soon so I will probably be using them.
My Demo9 was shipped to me with them. Service was much better than UPS or FedEx IMO. I called them a few times and the people were always helpful, unlike most of the UPS people I have had to deal with. My only complaint was that it took a while to get my tracking info on the site, like a day and a half after it was actually shipped. But they said it was due to computer troubles they were experiencing. I will be using them in the future. Prices are competitive too.
I got my plamsa TV via DHL... no probem-o.
Heck even the 'tip-indicator' on my set wasn't activated during shipment.

I ordered some stuff from Universal Cycles from them (Washington to Maryland), and it got here a day earlier than I expected. I also like that the DHL guy gets to my house a few hours earlier than the UPS guy.
