So I just ordered my DHR and was wondering what setups people have found to be good on them or any pros/cons I should be careful about my first couple runs out on it...I am coming from a Big Hit Comp...
I like a really active bike so I usually run my rebound pretty quick (not pogo-like though). I don't use much compression unless the course has a lot of pedaling. the DHR pedals really well and when you dial that compression adjuster in it feels like an XC bike. Just go out and have fun, play with the settings and find whats right for you.
Things to be careful about? Jealous people not having as much fun as you are
Pretty much just how the bike acts with a Romic on it...Bouncy squishy etc...my Big Hit is so drop oriented was wondering if the rebound will be crazy on the DHR. Also what size shocks up front people have...I am using 170mm Super T Pro, but thinking about going 190mm to rake it out more, I just don't know ;p

thats how you want to set your bike up.
It will come in at under 40lbs.
boxxer, hayes, truvative, mavic, tubeless michies, sram, hadley, sdg ibeams, odi.
Heh, same setup as mine except I have E13 Guide/Guard and a Super T but it will still be damn light...Thinking of getting the new Fox fork since its sub 7 and way beefy!
I had a dorado on mine... in my personal opinion it made the bike a bit steep... word has it the pro types drill out a different hole in the rear linkages to make the bike slacker.
