hey is it possible for me to put a dhx 5.0 on my 2003 norco fluid 2? if it is possible is it advisable or is it completely crazy? too much travel? logistical problems? thanks.

there are different sizes of the dhx rear shock, just get the one that is the same size as the the one you have now.
It's not as simple as that. The dhx 5.0 is a very large piggy back shock. Even when compared to the 5th and swinger, the fox is large. The 2003 Norco Fluid 2 specs an air shock as oem. Even if you get the eye to eye and stroke matched, the seat post/mast area might not be able to accomodate the space of the piggy back when it is mounted in the frame. Contact Fox.
