Diamondback are pushing their way into the freeride market, but they aren't leaving behind any of the things they've done in the past. Expansion is the name of the game for these cats from Washington!
---

Having signed Billy Lewis to ride for the company and support the freeride side of things, Diamondback is making it clear that they are coming on strong in the slopestyle, dirt jump and hucking realms.

The Dreamliner slope bike was on display at the booth; apparently it will not be available in 2011, but 2012 is a definite possibility. This is the bike that Sam Pilgrim rode at Crankworx this year.

Knucklebox suspension.

The 2011 scapegoat is an amazing tool all over the mountain. It has Saint brakes, Hammerschmidt, and a Fox 36 180 Float.

The Fox 360 180 Float matches well with the frame.

Utilizing the Hammerschmidt is key for getting to the top when your means of transportation is limited to your legs and not a vehicle.

For 2011 the Diamondback Mission will come in 4 different models ranging in price and spec, this is the Mission 2.

Hammerschmidt shows up again in the Diamondback line. This is the Mission 3, while the top of the line Mission 4 will be sporting Mavic Crossmax wheels and a Fox 32 Talas fork.

29ers are once again gaining steam; here is Diamondback's Overdrive Pro model.

Not your kid's big wheels...

Billy Lewis designed the Assault series for dirt jumping and associated uses.

The Assault 2 will be the weapon of choice for Billy Lewis and Pilgrim when they're on the jumps.

There's just something about short travel, aggressive bikes that's supremely attractive. The Dreamliner slope bike is one of the coolest bikes at the show.

Diamondback is also doing a really cool, easy contest right now, where you can win one of the 2011 Scapegoats. Check out the page here and good luck!
