I did! I took the Cheeta out for a little "suburban" night time riding and had a blast! I have it set up in "Trail bike" mode now with a RS Psylo SL up front and a set of Mavic 519s from my Balfa and it rode nice. I think it needs some shifting fine tuning and the front Avid needs some tweeking, but all in all it was a blast to get out and ride tonight - really warm night here in New England so I just had to take advantage of it.

Here she is after the ride. Thought some of you might like to see what she looks like now since I took the DC fork off of her.

I know Splat and the boys got out and rode Vietnam tonight - but who else got out on this warm November night in New England or elsewhere?

Peace,

Mark

i was gonna go for a ride but then things fell thru. Then i thought well hey i just joined the YMCA i may as well go work out or somethin there. i walk in and get a card and i notice all these bikey people comin in. They're havin a spin class in five minutes, so i decide what the hell. i jumped in and man it's hard spinnin real hard and breathin gym air, it's a hell of lot cooler with the wind hittin your face haha. anyways i got a good workout and i'm glad i joined that place haha.

I went night riding tonight with a friend and my new Sugar. We rode a combination of fire roads and quad trails. Kind of windy and rainy but still good fun. I usually get two night rides in each week during the winter. :thumb:

So far so good but, due to the monetary constraints a shoe salesman has to deal with, I was forced to outfit it with LX cranks and rings. :blah:

What's wrong with LX? Offers great bang for the buck doesn't it?

Yes except they replaced my much loved and well used Race Face Turbine LPs which were missing a tooth on the large ring - right behind the crank arm. I normally would have just ordered a new ring - and I still might - but they are the old square tapered dealies from the mid nineties. Best cranks ever though... I also went with a Deore front derailleur. :blah:

Maybe i'll get a Kore Elite stem and some Spin Rims and some Magura hydraulic rim brakes and i'll bring back the good ole days. :p
