Why is shimano's PM to Boxxer adapter $38, especially when the remainder of their adapters are 12-15?

Is there any reason I can't use a cheaper set, like Maguras, for $8 a pop front and rear?

It's a mystery, but if you want really outrageous, check out the prices on some of the Formula adapters.

magura ain't givin that shizzle away neither.
I paid more than $8 for my boxxer adapt when I got it straight from Mag.

they're a lot more affordable in the rotor + adaptor packaging. never hurts to have a spare rotor.

I recall having one, is the serial stamp#f203p/b. i ran it on my boxxer with xt's. I'm pretty sure it will fit since the calipers were post mounts. $20 and it's yours! I can post a pic of it if u like..let me know!

I ended up going with an 8 dollar avid mount for my K24s/Boxxer. Works fine and saved me money for hookers and blow.

I don't care how good the brakes are an adapter should not cost that much.
