Wear a helmet, keep one finger on the rear brake, practice on grass and try to flip yourself backwards. If you can throw yourself off the back of the bike then you can definitely ride a wheelie.
I had a BMW, but it was boring. 1LE trim, manual, massive tires for putting down the power, raw pushrod V8 power, pretty fun. Definitely on the upper limit of what is "daily drivable" as far as suspension, given our roads, but Texas seems to have even more chunks missing than us when I go there. Everyone seems to justify their massively stiff racer car for DD by saying "it's not bad". Sometimes I swear going over bumps. The mag shocks are pretty magical on the "track" tho...
