Rock Shox lists different part numbers for the lowers for each version of the Boxxer. Is the difference just the stickers that come on them (other than the little steel insert in the Race lowers that you can just press out? Anyone?

I believe its just the paint job/ decals on the lowers.

All the Sram Boxxer lowers are identical for 2010

Also the Race lowers come with a steel insert installed at the bottom of the rebound side leg for the Race rebound damper

I know. I referenced that in my post. I've heard it just presses out though, true?

yeah it presses out, or falls out as happened on my fork.
