What year did the cnc aluminum peice that connects to shock change from 2 to 1 peices? Also, do all the bullits have 7" of travel?

What two piece aluminium piece? If you mean the shock mount at the front, it has always been 1 piece. On early models it was flat with a slot for adjustment. On later models it was raised with two sets of two holes (four holes, hope that makes sense?).

Not all Bullit frames have 7-inches. It depends what shock is fitted. Early Bullits came with 7.785x2.25 inch Fox RC, where as later models came with 8.5x2.5 inch 5th Elements.

The Fox equiped frames have 6 inches, the 5th models have 7.

I have an 01 model frame running a 7.785 inch shock, giving me 6 inches. I have also used an 8.5 inch retro-fitted 5th Element shock, so either frame can use both shocks.

FYI:

Santa Cruz does not have "model years". They have design changes, but they can just as easily come at the beginning, middle, or end of a year... So if you're asking, "was there are 2004 replacement model for 2003", the answer is no.
