Took about 1GB worth of pics and videos yesterday on the ride.

Reviewed the pics several times on the ride and after, all was good.

Popped the card into 3 different computers only to see "can't read, do you want to format?" questions pop up. Now camera won't read the card but is fine with other cards.

Anyone know how to get pics off a failed card? Can't see anything on the card to even try a norton recovery.

Any ideas?

On a Linux Machine do an fsck and tey files will be in a lost&found folder with odd extentions. ( an d Fat file system )

On a Winblows/Dos Machine , at the command promt chkdsk -f
