got there late (traffic has grown exponentially in the last couple of years down here, it's freakin' unreal), so we missed our original table reservation. had a ketel one martini (dirty) while we waited, and took a look @ some of the denizens of Naples (think old, rich, and somewhat affected).
appetizer: roasted red pepper w/ anchovyand olive paste.
salad: thinly sliced beets w/ greens, macadamia nuts, and balsamic
entree: (her) garganelli (kinda like penne) w/ radicchio (something else) and truffles.
(me) tagliatelle w/ pork ragout (made w/ shredded braised pork, not ground pork)
dessert: chocolate hazelnut torte w/ creme fraiche and raspberries, garnished w/ mint
wine: capanna brunello di montalcino, 2001
verdict - outstanding.
