Catching up with the recently revamped and restored Race Face proved to the Bike Mag crew that the Canadian brand is back in a big way. Check the brief update and be ready for more from Interbike!

After recently closing its doors this past March, Race Face has been brought back by a couple of its own employees. Securing enough money from outside investors to buy back the company from bank, the company has re-enterd the industry with nary a hiccup. Here’s a look at some of their lineup for the coming year.

Race Face’s new Six carbon DH crank is the sveltest of them all—the closest dedicated DH crank comes in 100 grams heavier.

Following the trend, the Next SL is a feathery 595 grams (including BB) and features a titanium spindle.

The Atlas crank is back and sheds some weight courtesy of a further machined spider. Note the Whistler Bike Park topo graphics.

We’re glad to see Race Face’s cockpit components back on the market. The Atlas bars now host some new graphics, and gain the option of a 1 1/4-inch rise.
