Me and some of my buddies r buildin a lil course in the woods out back, and we're trying to build a few skinnies and jumps and stuff.... but of course we have no idea what we're doing, so i was wondering if anyone knew any sites or had any pointers on building such structures... we've built a couple jumps, and theyve turned out all right, but i think thats just from luck lol.... thanks

just kidding. however there are several threads on her unless they have been deleted.

build your jumps as tables first if ya feel more comfy, brace the hell out of stunts that ya build and nails dont kill trees.

Check out www.crackedfork.com. They have some pretty good advice on how to build jumps.

Nails don't kill trees, but they prematurely expose them to insects and disease. Please don't nail anything into anything still alive. Would you like it if a tree stuck a nail in you?

could help you with idea's for dirt jumps. also theres a bmx video called rythem made by snap magazine its pure djing ahh...

i've seen it hundreds of times and i'd watch it right now if i had it with me

yea i think were just gonna make some big piles of dirt and shape em from there... then just take some boards and mess around nailin em into downed trees.... dont worry no live ones fuz
