Hey all, new to this forum and this is my first post.

Just a quick question, I'm currently modifying my Giant Brass 2 for Dirt Jumping, i.e convert to singlespeed, remove front brake, sand and respray of frame. Just wondering, I've managed to remove my front brake, but the disc is still attatched to the wheel. Any method of removing it? Or will I have to buy a new wheel?

My disc brakes are screwed onto the wheel, simply unscrew them

I doubt they would make them unremoveable incase you had to replace the disk.

Cheers, and yeah they're screwed on, but the hole (or whatever its called)where a screwdriver or allen key is meant to go has some weird shaped patter, i've tried countless allen keys and screwdrivers but nothing.

there torx bits dude, you need a new set of drivers or take it to your lbs and bingo, disc off
