Can i use avid caliper but use shimano rotor?
And another problem i have is the front rotor keep rubbing against the caliper even i have already adjust it. Any advise? could it be the rotor?

I use Shimano and Avid interchangably.

You might need to adjust it again. And check if the rotor is warped.
