when i get my new bike i will have disc brakes. i'm gonna be taking the front tiire off alot. i heard if you squeeze the brakes while the disc is not there they get stuck together. is that true?

Yes, but to get them unstuck you just need to pry them apart. A screwdriver works well, just be careful with the pads.

or, when the disk is out of the caliper you could place a piece of plastic in between the pads, this will work to help the pads in the place they belong to be

Only affects hydraulics. Mechanicals don't have the problem.

Maguras come with plastic inserts to keep the pads spaced out when you're fiddling with the wheel.

Try not to squeeze the brake when your front wheel is off your Bullit.
