Can't get the brake to not rub on the new bike. Looks like I can get it happy with a little extra tilt, suggesting my disk mounts are not faced. For an at-home mechanic, is it better to file my +10mm adapter (of which I have a spare) to get better alignment, attempt facing of the frame myself, or is this where you just take it to a mechanic?
I will say that the pads sit a bit higher on the rotor than they used to, suggesting reducing the height is necessary regardless, and that this part of the frame seems to have some extra paint on it which may be causing the issues.
