I've noticed it on a couple of 888's, but my z150 is holding up fine.

My 888 is holding up fine and it has about 200 miles on it so far.

Are we talking about the anno coloring fading? That isn't a big deal is it?

My old (97) Z-1 did and I never had issues because of it. My 03 Boxxer is a little.

Thats right, I forgot that the Z150 is steel and the 888 is whatever alu alloy Marz is using these days. The z150 also has 'works style nitride coated steel stanchions', and I wonder why that black coating would be any different from that used on the 888, Super T, Drop-Offs, etc. I wonder why they would use a different coating.
