I'm coaching my son's Mite B Travel Hockey team this year. It is fun, but this year, because it is travel and they practice more regularly, I have to prepare practice plans and whatnot.

A little more work, but well worth it. I love coaching and teaching things to the kids. I think I get as much enjoyment out of it as they get playing the sport.

Anyone else out there coaching youth sports (hockey, soccer, baseball, football, etc.)?

I was an assistant coach for my son's baseball the last 2 years. It's a lot of fun, but a lot of work.

Coached hockey in Ak, Il and Wa, coached my kids soccer and assisted on his baseball teams.

I coached little league soccer when I was in college. All 6-9 year olds. It was like herding cats... I loved it!

I coach minor hockey, last year coached a Bantam team, two years prior to that coached a Pee Wee team. Great feeling!
