I really don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. I get laid by a different girl every day and all I do is ride dh and work...in film.
I keep my DH bike at the foot of my bed so it dosn't feel left out when I ride my girlfriend. And ya'll think I'm kidding 
I've found that the fact that my bike is worth so much is more appealing to girls. They love hearing the line "my bike is worth more than my truck." Granted I do have a beater truck but it still has character.

The way to look at it is, out of the worlds top 10 who would be considered as a sex symbol?! Steve peat? Sam hill? The missus im with now and the mother of my 2 kids, sometimes even pays for me to go on liftweekends, cos she can go visit her mom, so it works out for both of us
I feel damn lucky that she realises without it i would prolly go nuts and do something even dumber.

My girlfriend can't stand the fact that I rather want spend my time riding my bike than sitting somewhere with her and getting bored. She likes the look of it and thinks it's cool, but can't stand the fact that you have to spend time to ride bikes.
I have a feeling that our relationship will be affected by this sooner or later...

That's untrue. I had stories of girls coming to me and trying to talk me up. Even though I wasn't the best smelling flower pushing my bike up a hill when the lift stopped.
Though what really chicks dig in yurp where moto is not as big is dirt jumpers (bmx even more). Yes they are stupid and you have to check their ID's but they are so determined to pick up a dirt jumper they are willing to get run over. Also the top slope guys in the world have groupies following them. Not kidding. Met a few at White Style 2011.
Still the best story is of a friend who we snuck into a bmx event afterparty since he is part of our local dj crew. We gave him a pretend "pro" band. After a while we see him talking this hot chick. All is going good untill she asks him "Are you riding BMX?" He answered " No, MTB". She turned and left that moment. Wish I could have seen his face.

yeah i have to say...after years of dating 'hot chicks' that think it 'cool' i ride bikes, i realized it just wasnt a sustainable model for an actual relationship...every single relationship ended indirectly because of riding and time commitment.

Only down side...
Most of the horseback girls I have met are a little to "thick" for my tastes. When your sport of choice involves a large animal carrying you around on it's back you probably won't get the same slimming effect as some other activities.
Also anyone who owns a horse is LOADED. Don't let them tell you otherwise.

There are a lot of fatties who ride horses. There are also a lot of skinny girls with awesome toned legs. Depends on the type of riding. If they do the jumping stuff where they're up out of the saddle sorta doing squats, then you're golden. If they just sorta plod along and pose and worry more about what their wearing for the event, not so much. I'm pretty sure that's where the term "piggyback ride" comes from.
I actually know a few girls who are fairly top level horse riders who are far from loaded. They don't own horses, but they get to ride in competitions and whatnot due to their skill. Being a long legged skinny horse riding girl with a lot of skill for competitions actually makes you pretty valuable (horse jumps higher and better with a lighter rider).
