Each year I say I'm going to goto Sea Otter.. and I miss it every year, because of school. Thought I was going to make it to Big Bear finally this year too, and of course that's not happening. Couldn't make the Sonoma one either. Bah!

Instead I gotta sit here on my butt and study fer finals. Tell me I'm not the only one grumblin about this

Hard to make those races when you work every weekend

Yeah I miss events like Sea Otter, Interbike (even when I was able to get a vendor pass), collegiate nationals (although could be done but too $$) and this summer I have a feeling I will miss some because of work, but I am hoping not seeing as I already missed 2 with my ankle.

I miss races because they'll be two scheduled the same day (i.e Dh race at Plattekill & a XC race at some other venue)

That has to suck. They won't let you take time off for even one of them?

I got to mis the first race this season in Oregon because I had military reserves that weekend. It's one weekend a month, but it had to be THAT weekend! Sucks...
