Just wondering how many of you work for the government....

1) Federal, state, city, or what?
2) Are you an actual gov't employee or a contractor?
3) Do you think your pay and benefits are reasonable compared to other work you've done?
4) What colors for the walls, carpeting, cubes, etc. are predominant in your office? :)

My answers are like so:
1) Federal
2) Contractor
3) Pay and benefits are better than working at a non-profit and in the field of education (that's not difficult, though.)
4) Mauve, Pepto-Bismol pink, and white.

1) I do not work for the gub'ment. but I do work for the man. If you don't work for the man you are the man. If you are the man better watch it because I'm gonna stick it to you.
2) see 1
3) see 1
4) Crappy 70's architecture. My office resembles a bunker, thick concrete walls, few windows and everything is some shade of grey.
