This actually happened Memorial Day weekend, but I forgot about it until now. Anyway, I was in Whistler, riding up the lift with a guy who said he was riding a new Azonic frame called the Exterminator, but I haven't heard of it before or since then. It looked like a Saber, but probably had around 7-7.5" of travel, and I think it had a Swinger coil shock. Does anyone know anything about this? I have a feeling that guy might have been pulling my leg, but I really doubt it.

sounds interesting, if it's true. maybe he had just put a 2.25" stroke swing on his saber and a double crown up front? some people are putting 2.25" shocks on the saber to get a little more travel.

Maybe. It has no stickers on it, and, if I remember right, it looked slightly different from a Saber.

Thanks, Ive been toying around with the idea of getting a Saber, I just would like a different shock than the stock Romic.

Did that longer shock raise the bottom bracket?

yes it was at the show. It has the FSR link and looks like the old eliminator.

i don't remember what the name of it is but they do have a new FR bike for 05 with 10 inches of travel.

The two frames at the show are the DH and the long travel FR frames, Azonic is working on a 7+ inch freeride frame, they said the Saber really never took off.

Cool. The new frame with 10" is called the "Gravity." At the bottom, it says "weight: heavy."
