Just curious. I know people name their cars and such. I just got a new frame and I love it so much already that I feel a name may be in order :D

Oh heck no! All mine have names.

XC- Betty (orginally named after the Betty shifters I had on a previous bike)
    Hardtail - Bella
Previous DH Bikes - Buffy (my last 3), Lucy, and Sally

I figure we baby the darn things so much they deserve names!!!

Well, to be honest, since I was going to buy two bikes next year, I was thinking about giving them song titles like

    "The Bone Machine"
    or
    "TV Eye"

I tend to just call it by its given name. Though with the new King Kikapu, I may have to change it to Queen

personally i don't think that a name is appropriate until the entire bike is complete and a celebratory first ride has been performed.

but yes, my downhill bike is sissy and my mtn cross bike is harley

Are the people who name their bikes the same people who come up with clever names their private parts?

Just wondering. I always thought that was kind of weird.

My wife named her Volvo 240 Mulva (obscure Seinfeld reference)

I still can't bring myself to name inanimate objects. You people are weird.
