Dirt Rag did a review forever and a year ago (kinda porky as a trialsy bike, which is how it was set up).

that's it? that's a 10th of a pound heavier than an Imperial. i thought it was well more than that. then again, in the review, it was built rather beefy. i'll see if i can find it....

it only weighs like 9 pounds or something like that I would have to wear a weight belt to ride that thing around LOL
the frame weighs 9 pounds dumbass. Not the bike.

I think he means the lifting weight type of belt (as in, the frame is too heavy) rather than the SCUBA weight belt (as in, this thing is so light it'll float away).

I always thought that was sort of a neat bike. But I'd sure never own one.

Actually, I met and rode with Goatbike Dave, the fabricator who makes the frames, despite being built of 4130 cromo, the bike was reasonable in weight built up, and was very trials like in it's ride position and handling. We actually took it to a local freeride trai, and had a lot of fun with it despite that not being the bike's true element. Dave was super nice and can make the bikes with different frame geometries, etc, based on your preferences. He also said that the bike can be set up a bunch of different ways in order to make it more street, or jump, etc....

I think even he knows it's ugly, but i don't think this is a case of function following form. The Gazz 3.0 out back felt pretty amazing, i must admit, it felt like a suspension bike, albeit undamped, it was crazy.

Bottom line, cool guy, cool bikes, different, and the world needs more of that.

It's cool ride, the dude was running a moped like front sprocket on it when I caught up wit them on the trails. Perfect bike for rocky place out here called lynn woods.

You guys are such haters, just because it doesn't say evil on it you have to say that it's ugly, diss the no cable guide feature and call it a warmed over nishiki. Nobody even mentioned that it's so 2002 to even think about running gazzi 3.0's.

cool bike!

Although I laughed at the Nishiki comments, the only common element is elevated stays. It's as much an Alien (or Haro for that matter) as it is a Bullit with a solid piece of tube for a shock.

24x3.0's blow with one exception...

a bike like this, then they're cool!

Isn't there some bit of Eastern Woods Research in there, too? Some mutual connection via the builders or something?

The Sovereign looks a lot like an EWR, too, but I thought this actually had people in common...

There's a kid from northern MA that races at Rye who wooped my ass and everyone elses on one of those built up single speed, basically as a big bmx, he didn't seem to mind the weight!! and he was only 14, kicking the crap out of everyone!
