I bought a bike off a brothers friend with a 98 z3 light (80mm) he had the fork rebuit once in late 2000 and rode it less than 10 times between then and last month when I bought it

I got a job for 3 weeks as a bike couiour (sp) and put about 150hrs pavemet only on it in dry weather (no rain) and Ive rode down a couple fire roads less than 5k long

can I hold out because it was almot all pavement riding?

well I answed my own question the oil was toast. so Ill pick up some 10wt ( I asked he had 7.5 marz oil put in and it too fat rebounding) and put some old coveralls on and rebuild it.
