So here's how it works, according to SceneTap: Bars place special facial detection cameras inside venues, which pick up on facial characteristics to determine approximate age and gender of the bar crowd. All your personal information remains anonymous, and nothing about you or your face is stored long-term.
i'm trying to figure out my own position on this:
- ghetto bird just fine
- eye in the sky? not so much
- what's the difference once you take away guy in aircraft?
- i hate mmike
A couple things come to mind:
- Helicopters are expensive, you can only afford so many of them. Drones are relatively inexpensive so there can be a lot more of them up there.
- Helicopters are loud, so you probably know that it's there. Not so much with drones.
