woohoo ride night! Will it be skating rink ice, snow or slush? Who knows! But fun will be had.

But first work and coffee.

@eric strt6 HBD!

:edit: looking at my email inbox, something seems suspicious. Not single email between 4:40pm yesterday and the one I received just now. hmmmmm

HBD, Eric

WFH for me today. Over lunch I’m running to Costco to pick up a new bedspread. One of the cats left a stinking poo on the current one yesterday evening, which could use a backup in any case

Morning Monkeys.

Should be WFH but pulling more cables today. Turns out 3 of the 7 network drivers we supply shit the bed if the cable is pulled. I hate tests I can't really automate.

Currently trying to learn and absorb a degree in engineering since my architect and engineer are out for the rest of the year and the city wants IRC brace wall calculations for 110 mph winds and seismic zone E on my two floorplans in town.

so frustrating

I had to go for a "calcium score CT scan" this morning because my cholesterol is high. Whatever.

Happy Birthday, Eric!
at your age you should have a calcium score of 0. anything else would raise concern in my mind, even like a 5 or whatever.

not much going on in the world/at work. So I'm pretending to work, will get a workout in, and may go to a fancy liquor store.

First day back at the ski shop, yay! Looks like I will be able to ride this winter, so I’m looking forward to that. (Maybe by Feb?) We just got like three feet in three days, so stoke level is high.

Happy sourdough salmon olives on pizza taco day, @eric strt6 !!

I just learned about this type of scan recently. I’m wondering if one is in my future. Found this image of what a range of scores look like.

'sup. took 14yo to high school, worked on floor a bit, had a work call, now into the office for a bit. grouting this afternoon. that's about it.

hey @eric strt6 - hope fellow drivers behave, that you don't have too many obese people to schlep, and that you have something good planned for dinner!

Just discovered the company holiday period is next Wed-Wed. Did not think I was supposed to be working next week, but Monday and Tuesday require the ruse to be maintained.

Hard focus while at the gym on Teres Major / Teres Minor / Infraspinatus Muscle. Least developed part of the Shoulder. 'Rice Krispies' sounds are beginning to quiet themselves.

Took an old-school sprint toward a janky side-lip on the trail over the weekend, stayed in one piece.
