That's right you fucking jackass, hit it with a sopping wet wrecking ball.
The Sécurité Civile of France, part of the French Ministry of Interior, said hundreds of members of the Paris Fire Brigade were doing everything possible to get the fire under control and save the historic structure. The agency said in a tweet, "all means are being used, except for water-bombing aircrafts which, if used, could lead to the collapse of the entire structure of the cathedral."
Fucking moron.

I have no idea where I am
Haven't had a chance to read anything about the Mueller report, but I am having a difficult time believing there is anything in there that will effect Trumps tenure. I fear he my remain in power indefinitely as there seems to be few Republicans that oppose him.

I dont think Weld has a chance in hell. What I find potentially exciting is the historical precedent of what happens to a sitting president after a contentious primary.
how much money can weld hope to raise to be even remotely competitive...

@jonKranked and I have had this discussion. So far I haven't learned anything that wasn't already known or at least speculated regarding the Mueller Report. I am extremely skeptical that their is a bar low enough for Republicans to cast anchor from Trump. The party is, best case scenario, too broken to do anything. Ive said it before, the GOP is comprised. Barr is a boot licking toady.

i think what its gonna come down to, for the GOP, is whether or not they're gonna chose their country and defend the constitution, or step in line with their party and continue to bow down to fuhrer cheeto.

once assange is extradited and put under oath we might have a clearer idea of which way its gonna go.

From that:

Putting it all together, here’s what I think we can responsibly say is Mueller’s position:

(1) Mueller believes the evidence of presidential obstruction of justice is strong enough, and the president’s defenses weak enough, that to resolve this case would involve precisely the type of traditional prosecutorial judgment that he believes he cannot properly render; it is not clear that the president did not commit obstruction crimes, and given that, the analysis should go no further.

(2) In the absence of a judgment clearing the president, Mueller does not believe it appropriate for the Justice Department either to opine on the merits of any obstruction case or to close the matter while Trump remains in office—believing the prosecutorial judgment should await the end of Trump’s presidency, when he is again amenable to criminal charges.

(3) In the meantime, Mueller considers the matter a question for Congress, which we can infer because he wants to avoid taking action that would “preempt constitutional processes for addressing presidential misconduct.”

(4) Finally, Mueller assembled the record that follows this dense discussion certainly to aid later prosecutorial consideration and probably also with an eye toward facilitating contemporary congressional consideration.

Havent followed this thread in a while and havent followed any of my former news bubble items on youtube because theres not a damn thing gonna change anyway.

I know its easy for me to say because I dont live in the US, but I think this has already made me about 17% happier in general with less grumpiness and less a tad less doomsday vision.

Not giving a fuck anymore really seems to be working out for me so i will let you guys be while I stick my head in back in the sand...

Trust me, it would be different if Id actually live in the US, id be on a personal crusade crusade against this dictatorship.

And i dint think people are sticking their heads in the sand even.
I think part of them are too fucking stupid to see whats really going on and the others actually like whats coming.

From the WaPo article:

“In a cordial and professional conversation, the Special Counsel emphasized that nothing in the Attorney General’s March 24 letter was inaccurate or misleading. But, he expressed frustration over the lack of context and the resulting media coverage regarding the Special Counsel’s obstruction analysis. They then discussed whether additional context from the report would be helpful and could be quickly released.

The Dems hanging on to any sort of different outcome from the Mueller report is getting a little tiring. He didn't find enough to charge trump with anything. It's not going to happen. They need to focus on 2020 and then find something to charge him with. A sitting president is too powerful and a republican senate doesn't want impeachment. The weird revisionist history in the media right now is so wacky. James Comey probably cost hillary the election but now the dems like him because he also doesn't like trump? Get over it and focus on winning.
