Significant disqualified votes.
Not the greatest news source, but the first google result.

Washington has solved a lot of these problems by offering ballot drop off boxes, usually in front of some municipal building. Still rely on the mail to receive a ballot, but one can drop it off at secure location at any time.

Can you c&p the article?
here's the meat and taters of it...

  • The Trump administration last year pressured the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to delete part of a report concluding that Russia was aiming to help Donald Trump win reelection in 2020, an investigation by The New York Times Magazine found.
  • When Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence, refused to delete that conclusion from the report, Trump forced him to retire early, the Times report said.
  • Previous reports from the FBI, the CIA, and the National Security Agency concluded that Russia attempted to help Trump win in 2016 — and President Vladimir Putin said publicly that he wanted Trump to win — but Trump has denied those reports' accuracy.

Our press needs to coordinate and attack this treasonous cocksucker each and every time he drags his dishonest ass in front of a microphone.

Colorado has the same, universal mailed ballots where you can post it back or drop at a drop box.

And kill the goose that keeps laying the golden turds? They don't have the fucking balls. If the institutions of the free press were willing and/or able to stand for anything at all, he wouldn't be president in the first place.
About that. These are the same clowns who gave him literally millions of dollars in free press, legitimized every off the wall stupid shit thing he said, and never followed up, or investigated any of it. The press is complicit and are only now freaking the fuck out because Mango Mussolini is cutting them off and threatening the institution. If these fucks had done half their jobs during the run-up to the election we might not be dealing with Baron von Fuckstick in the first place. Edward R Murrow must be rolling in his grave.

Absolutely.

But the primary responsibility of the 4th estate is to speak truth to power, or about power, and those who would seek it.
It wasn't until after the so-called president was elected that I think they realized how bad they fucked up. Remember how ground breaking it seemed when Chuck Todd called out Kellyann over "alternative facts"? Over the size of the inaugural crowds. How brave of him..

CNNs president barely coming around to maybe, just maybe, they fallated Trump just a little too much.

How it was news, in and of itself, when a major newspaper dared to use the word "lie" in a headline.

There was all sorts of hand wringing and pearl clutching going on over at places like NPR and Fortune about how do we dare call giant piles of bullshit, bullshit, after the election. Too little WAY too fucking late.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a firm believer that freedom of the press is the most sacred institution and right guaranteed by the Constitution. I firmly believe that all the other rights stand on the shoulders of it. But I have a hard time being sympathetic to anybody who shoots themselves in the foot. You're correct in that it's great to see them come around. I sincerely hope it's not too late, for them, or for us.

You know you’ve reached the end of your rope with modern politics when you delete a Solitaire app from your phone because there are too many Joe Biden ads.

Important things are important.

"So showerheads - you take a shower, the water doesn't come out. You want to wash your hands, the water doesn't come out. So what do you do? You just stand there longer or you take a shower longer? Because my hair - I don't know about you, but it has to be perfect. Perfect," he said.

In case you're worried your mail in for Ross Perot won't get there in time, you might want to look into the validity of this.

At least in CO, one can drop of a ballot in all kinds of places. DMV, library, etc. All have official drop boxes staffed by volunteers or county officials.

That's assuming of course that the PO will deliver your ballot in time to be able to turn it in.

Edit:. IIRC, both WA and OR operated vary similarly.

Mailing in a ballot was only recently an option here.

I will laugh my ass off if this strategy backfires as rural populations rely on the postal service a lot more than urban ones.

Hmmm.....

I could swear I remember receiving a ballot in the mail when we lived in Vancouver and Battleground, but maybe I'm confusing that with OR. I have hit my head pretty hard a couple times in the 15 years since we left.

Edit: my googler says vote by mail in Washington was approved in 05, so maybe that's what I'm thinking of. We'd have gotten to actually vote once I believe by mail.

What I meant was you got it in the mail but had to drop it off at a ballot box.

You do realize if Trump was pushing mail in voting, the left would be dead against it because of potential voter fraud. The problem with mail in voting, there is a greater chance of people using ballots from deceased family members or family members that have moved to a different state for example. So what happens if people did that exact thing, and it comes out in Trumps favor? The left would be losing their minds.

There was Russian election interference in 2016, the left was convinced Trump was in cahoots with Russia. So what happens if mail in ballots are allowed in all states and then Trump wins. A year or so down the road, they find fraudulent ballots possibly from another country that if removed would have made Biden, I mean Harris president? If there is nationwide mail in voting, Trump wins the left will immediately say Trump cheated and demand looking closer at all the ballots to see if they're legit. What happens is someone in the mail system is going through ballots and disposing ones from a certain party? A lot can happen behind closed doors.

A ballot drop off box? Hell yes! However there should be a representative at each drop off box checking ID's before dropping it in the box. To make it more convenient, have the drop off box Sat, Sun, Mon and the rest can be dropped off on election day, that's 4 days to be able to drop off a ballot which should be great for all voters.

If they can develop a more fool-proof mail in system, I'd be for it, but you can't try to put something like that in place with less than 80 days until the election and assure everything it will go smoothly.

All Trump is asking for is a fair election. Limiting mail in voting (at least for now) assures a more legit winner on both sides. The country is so divided, one would think, they would want it a fair as possible for both sides, because we're all aware if Trump does in fact win, the Dems will say he cheated no matter what.

Trump is not seeking a fair election. He is seeking to steal the election, as he did the last.

.... Trump had admitted he wants to make it harder to vote by mail. Trying to reduce the number of people who can vote isn't American! His cronies are dismantling the USPS right now. That shit is treason! @Brian HCM#1 what alternative universe are you living in?
