That's one of the MANY problems I have with these endless and very breathless reading 'ooh, I bet we got him now' pieces acting like journalism.

These fools should be doing something productive like mobilizing a mass, nation-wide movement to abolish the electoral college. You know, something that would matter way more than 'what trump did......again'

Well, yeah. But that’s how this whole thing started. He never really wanted to be president, just wanted the brand identity that came from campaigning. If he runs, the GOP will nominate him. And he will get re-elected. I have absolutely no faith in the ability of the average voter to recognize his threat to our Democracy.
