A buddy of mine got a recruiter from Intel busted. He had 6 dudes from India living in an appointment and was paying them very little while billing Intel top dollar. There is a minimum payment vs billed hours in Oregon. But there is also no overtime in Oregon (above 40 hours is still straight pay, not 1.5).
Amazing that workers themselves have been convinced to vote against their own interests, and oppose labor unions, socialized healthcare, sick/maternity leave, etc.It's almost as if you need *laws* to prevent worker exploitation, regardless of whether they're white or blue collar.
