Brian, that was like reading the last eight years of FOX News in a three paragraph regurgitation. You make a lot of noise bitching and complaining about the economy, but there are a few fundamentals that everything you talk about rely on, which you seem to not understand.

The biggest is the relationship between money supply and inflation. This is Econ 101. The more money that is in the economy, the more all of the items in the economy will cost. It usually takes anywhere from 6 months to 2 years for the full effects of inflation from an increase in money supply to be felt. (Source) During Trump's first presidency, the US debt went up by 33%; Biden' was 16% (source). But let's look at the actual money supply.

Do you know what happened in late-2020? Trump dumped massive amounts of money into the economy in the form of COVID recovery funding and PPP loans. Coincidentally, the vast majority of those funds went to rural states

or already wealthy individuals, so the funds did not go back into spending - instead it was invested directly into the markets.

Do you know what happens when you dump a huge amount of money into the stock market? Just like with any other product, the prices go up!

And do you know what happens when you start the process of taking money out of the economy to try and control inflation? The price of easy to sell assets goes down - like the stock market. If you lay the two charts on top of each other you will see how well they overlap. Inflation did start to get under control under Biden. It took two years, just like it took two years for the full consequences of Trump's inflation causing cash influx to take effect.

The downstream of everything you complain about regarding cost of groceries and inflation was downstream from Trump dumping a huge amount of cash into the US economy and walking out before the consequences solidified.

All of these illegal immigrants taking jobs? They largely exist in two industries: agriculture and construction. Do you want to know how to fix it? Arrest the people doing the hiring. If there are no jobs, people won't come. If the people who make money off them have consequences, they won't hire them. To handle it any other way is to just push the responsibility onto those who are filling the available roles. Any argument around immigration that doesn't involve fixing the problems at the source of employment is a dog whistle.

Question along those lines: did you ever hire people who couldn't prove their citizenship? Because if you did, you are part of the problem that led to the hiring of low-pay illegal immigrants instead of better paying jobs for Americans. And if so, get off your pedestal.

But back to point one - economics is pretty simple if your are willing to spend the time to read and learn, instead of listening to other people tell you what you want to hear.

Holy fuck EL OH EL. This quote is gold:
quickly rankled longtime MAGA figures like Steve Bannon, who has vowed to have Musk “run out of here” and complained about US policy being shaped by “the most racist people on earth, white South Africans,” referring to Musk and several other South African tech venture capitalists.
Do you kow much of a fucking shit heal you have to be for convicted felon and living syphilis infection Steve Bannon to call you an asshole?

"DaSilva believes Trump’s deportation efforts will target criminals — and he supports that. After living in America for 17 years, he said he doesn’t think Trump's enforcements efforts will target people like him."

Ahhhh... my sweet summer child.
DaSilva sees in Trump a defender of Christian values

I said it before and I'll say it again. All these clowns who got pardoned are REALLY going to be in the tank for Trump now. They will be his Stazi, and nothing will be off limits because Trump is their God.
Nah, releasing convicted, violent felons early has never gone wrong. And pardoning them so they have legal access to military grade weaponry is a decision only a stable genius could make.
one of them getting disillusioned and taking a pot shot is perhaps our best shot at getting an early exit from the dotard. if ye olde coronary and cerebral arteries hold up, that is. pop! pop!
