I listened to all the weird bands........you know Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cure, The Smiths, Jesus and Mary Chain, etc. etc.

You know...one of them kids that hung out in the photo lab and wore back all the time :dead:

Sounds like a hot topic mainstream knock-off black clothes individual. You know, the ones the real ones joke about for elitist fun :blah: Those aren't very weird for that genre - should have looked further than your local mall for music :o:

Whoa, you must be hardcore!

Hot Topic wasn't even around then dude......we're talking about the mid 80's...

Where I grew up nobody really listened to Echo so that was pretty obscure.

Remember Bronsky Beat??? I used to listen to them....pulled the tape out a few years ago and couldn't stomach 10 minutes of it :dead:

Black Sabbath "Mob Rules" was the concert that ROCKED....

Hell yeah it did...it's very hard to find a suitable replacement for a singer in a band (I have NEVER like Brian Johnson in AC/DC) and some musicians are impossible to replace (think Les Claypool and dozens of others)...However, Ronnie James Dio was definitely a great replacement for Ozzy...

Dio had a song, "Hungry for Heaven,' on the Visionquest soundtrack. As a grade-school wrestler and Matthew Modine look-alike, that movie and the soundtrack cassette sort of defined my childhood, or at least I wanted it to.

When i was a drinker we used to always order Stoli Drivers. When we got plastered we would belt out a chorus of Holy Diver and then pound the drink....(from what i can remember)
