I thought this was a good article. It makes me wonder who is on the junk around here. The reality is that so few people are tested, even in the pro ranks, that a lot of people could be on it. I've been pro for several years and I've never been tested. I'm still of the opinion that we should stop testing....I hate it when a rider I love tests positive :)

Like....uh....yourself??!??

Hah! nudge nudge wink wink....

I keeeeed!!

Yeah, it's pretty insane how few are actually tested and how many are probably doing something to enhance their performance against "the rules".

Dunno about stopping the testing altogether though...I'd think it's one exploded heart on a climb during the tour of cali and the lawsuit by the family will collapse cycling in the US...Perfect storm and all that I know...

I'd say the local scene is pretty clean but I really only know the MTB scene. Everyone who is really fast always showed sparks of brilliance from day one. There is one local dude who spent years at the back of the pack then suddenly became unstoppable. Suspicions may be skewed by the fact he is a raging asshole, he is also a lawyer so I have little doubt he would lie and cheat.
