Hi Guys and Gals,
Does anyone happen to know the spring rates of the coils that come with the Dorado's?
I am looking into a Titanium upgrade. It's still in it's preleminary stages as I am not sure if it will be worth the cost.
I will be sure to post the results of my findings.

blue, red, yellow. soft, medium, firm. i just learned that a couple days ago

stock they come w/ 2 red springs (med) installed. You also get 1 blue and 1 yellow spring included with the fork.

Buy 2 Firefly springs and cut/modify them to fit. Problem solved.

Oh yeah,
I was looking for the accual spring rate, ie: 550 lb spring, a 750 lb spring. I'll just email manitou because now I'm curious.

I would be very interested if anyone can get some Ti springs made for a Dorado.


Actually I beleive the Dorado SC uses a Ti spring but of course it must be a diiferent size than those in the DH model.
Perhaps even those could be modified to fit?

Here's what I found so far:
soft = 60 lb
medium = 80 lb
firm = 100 lb
x firm = 120 lb

I am still looking at a few suppliers as well.
