I have not had much use for this downhill beast and would like it to be used by someone who can put it through its paces. This machine is designed to go downhill very very fast, consequently it is very good at going over things (what curb?). New, this bike went for something a little under 3 grand. Since then it has lost its front brake and seen a little aesthetic wear and tear. It is still able to do more than your own sense of self preservation will allow. Good call. Sounds like he's been trying to do the right thing in finding the original owner but his statute of limitations is set to expire.
