Hey guys i am working with the Northeast TN Mountain Bike Association to try and help develop some downhill/freeride type trails here in the east tn area. The NTMBA has local support from the area parks and have been responsible for creating the XC trails at Warriors Path in Kingsport and are currently working on trails at Bays Mountain. Bays Mountain officials have asked the club a few months back to come up with a plan to create more mountain biking trails on the mountain. During the meeting with Bays Mountain the topic of downhill trails came up but basically the NTMBA club is made up of only XC riders and they have no experience with downhill type riding or trail building so the topic was not pursued. What i need from you guys is to visit the link below and voice your oppinion and show them they are a need for this type of trail. The NTMBA is open to this suggestion, they just need some of us to step up and work with them to help create this trail after approval of the park. Are any of you guys local?
