Actually, with the Big Bear closure fiasco, he has lost his post, and lives in exile.

Big Bear is the city/town/area. Snow Summit is the resort. Snow Summit = No DH.

As far as LA DH goes, try to PM Westcoasthucker. He is a really cool guy and is always looking to show new folks the North LA DH scene.
