I have not been to DV since I attended school and resided in Norcal in 2000. We're stopping by there after N* on the way back home and would like to get some tips on which trails to shuttle.

I am familiar with Butcher Ranch. While the shuttle service offers a few other DH spots with names I have not heard of, which ones are really worth hitting?

I will be on my DH bike for this whole trip and probably out of lungs and legs in this late leg of our trip so I would like to avoid XCish trails.
Anyways, any tips will be appreciated.

Just do Butcher. All the other drops, like Pauley, Big Boulder, involve a fair amount of climbing. And whatever you do, don't do Empire Ranch. You still have to climb another 3000', starting at 5000'.

cool. the shuttle service site made one other trail higher up from Butcher sound more "technical."

as I was told. I hope I'm still intact after N* prior to DV, or the bike for that matter -which ever comes first.

Except that section is really pedally, and not as fun on a DH bike...
