*note: bittorrent is a gnutella-like site where you download a small file of what you want (ie: music/video..etc) and it finds all the people who have what you want and downloads it*
nice. i don't use bittorrent all that often actually, and the videos i have downloaded recently have not been mpaa products: a brief history of disbelief, a history of the london underground, and the power of nightmares. haven't watched any of them yet even tho it has been 3 weeks since d/ling 'em. of course d/ling and watching all 7 seasons of st:tng this spring and summer offsets my recent stretch of legality (altho i suppose for tv shows the time shifting argument may apply )
i like it how in the article, they tell you where to go to get such files. and how to use the program(in great detail)
nice, more people to dl from.
i mostly just use it for anime
i think he might have been talking about the program you need to actually run the torrent files. i have bit tornado which i like alot. not sure where i got it from just google bit tornet and look around a bit. or i guess just google bit tornado
EDIT: http://bittornado.com/
i dl everything via bit torrent now. full albums, programs, games. kazaa takes way to long to download anything. and alot of time when dling software its hard to make it work right.
Whoa, I downloaded bittornado, and i was using supernova to download fear and loathing in las vegas, and it said mozilla had an error, and when i opened mozilla again, my favorites list was gone, and i had a new homepage. any idea why this happened?
Ya, I've been using Burst! for about 6-8 months, and I really like it. Sometimes you have to mess around with .bin, .cue, .iso, and .img files. But you can download any of the software you need to crack those open from suprnova.org with Burst! anyway.
