No. Big difference is IPA's have a lot more hops (bittering, flavor, and aroma). The best way to tell the difference is pour both into a pint glass and just take a big wiff.Nobody said:

Not sure if anyone has tried it but anyone had the new Heineken Premium Lite yet? I bought a case and it went down so smooth and fast I polished off the case in like three days pounding them like soda. And they got the hit of a regular Heineken.

I'm kinda weird about my malt/hop ratio. Well, I suppose it's slightly less about the ratio and more about where the hops hit me. I'm no expert by any means, and when I brewed I just screwed around with stuff until I figured out what I liked, but it pretty much comes down to me liking beer that starts rather malty, finishes a bit hoppy, and doesn't feel thick or linger for too long. I've noticed that the darker ales tend to hold to that profile pretty well.

How much does a 12 of that swill cost? Because if it's anywhere around $6 you could've gotten a 6-er of something decent.
