so have a sun Ryno Lite rim, with a smaller presta valve, and a rear ditch witch with a shrader. i hate carrying two spare tubes, instead of one, and never having the right one. can i drill out the whole and then file it so i can run a shrader in this presta rim? if theres enough room between spokes of course. will this make this wheel weaker? please give me some help.

do it, its commonly done. If you seach you can find a thread where the correct dril bit size is provided.

I don't think it will mess with integrity everyone that runs DH tubes drills them out.

Perfectly acceptable to do that! We drill rims daily!!

This will do no structural damage to your rim...
