I'm almost positive this is based on your local laws. I think biking drunk is illegal here. I think the traffic code here doesn't distinguish between motorized or not.

On the plus side, it gives cyclists more rights... not that anyone cares.

in the illstate, or atleast in peoria, riding on your bike drunk is a no-no as a buddy and myself got $350 tickets riding some urban all faded.

Local laws are different... I had a good friend in DC get a DUI on his bike... he was like "WHAT? I didn't drive my car cause I didn't want to get busted!!!" It turned out to be a pretty funny story but not at the time... just years later!
