Who makes a 12-28 cassette? I'm trying to find one to run with a road, or other shortcage rear-derailier. Any thoughts?

i know shimano makes a 12-27 but i don't think anyone makes a 12-28. all i ot to say it that i use to run a 12-27 on my xc bike so most people could put it on a dh bike for sure. but use a slightly smaller front chain ring like 1-2 teeth smaller and you should be good.
